World Botanical Gardens & Waterfalls
The Gardens are located 16 miles north of Hilo, Hawaii, and consist of hundreds of acres of prime agricultural land abutting the Belt Highway on the east, and extending 1.5 miles up the slope of the extinct Mauna Kea volcano to the west. The northern border is between the Umauma River and the Hakalau Gulch which is feed by Kamaee stream among others that flow from Mauna Kea.
