You can either go up river to a tropical secluded prestine location or go toward the ocean and enter beautiful Hanalei Bay. They set you up with a dry bag, adjust your seating, and give you tips when you are going on a self guided tour. On our Kayak Kauai adventure we paddled up the Hanalei River passed the one lane bridge. The flowers floating along the river and the tropical birds singing as we paddle made for an enjoyable eco-adventure. There are many excellent photo opportunities during your adventure. The river is flowing towards the ocean so the paddle up river takes a little effort but the paddle down river is the reward. We returned to Kayak Kauai after several hours of paddling and was greeted by a friendly smile and helpful hand getting us ashore and back on land safely.
