Huggo's - Kona Big Island - A Wonderful Dining Experience
Breathtaking views, great food, and excellent service along with reasonable prices makes this is a wonderful dining experience. We enjoyed fresh catch which was Mahi Mahi that was delicous and some of the freshest I have ever enjoyed. Save room for desert because the signature deserts are out of this world. You may come back to Hawaii for your next vacation just so you can go to Huggo's for desert. Huggo's on the Rocks provides you with a unique casual dining experience that allows you to eat on there own private beach. Yes there is sand under your table and chair. If you are lucky you will see dolphins jumping in the ocean or see humpback whales during the winter.
Huggos is a family owned and operated ocean front restuarant that offers casual dining at the Huggo's on the Rocks and find dining at Huggo's fine dining restuarant. Huggo's will purchase there fish from the local fishermen that they have been working together with for years. The captain of the fishing boat will call the restaurant on its way to the dock and sell the fish to the restaurant before the boat reaches the harbor. I eat fish almost everyday for 20 years in Hawaii and the fish I had a Huggo's was excellent. The atmosphere is one of the best you will find anywhere. The restaurant is virtually serrounded by water. Located on the south end of Alii drive in Kona town. Save room for desert because when you experience there Mauna Kea Ice Cream Pie you will be glad you came to Huggo's. This was the highlight of our Big Island dining experience.
