The Kahua Ranch Sunset Dinner at Waimea, Hawaii is a wonderful way to see how the life of a ranch worker lives. The history and workings of the ranch will be told in a story like manner while you enjoy the campfire setting. The drive up to the ranch will provide you with some of the most breathtaking views on the Big Island. As you climb higher into upcountry kahala the clouds will driff over the road. When you arrive at the ranch the crisp air will give you the feeling you are truly in the mountains. The campfire will warm you as the staff warm friendly service will make sure you are having a good time. Dinner is buffet style with chicken, steak, salad, corn, beans, etc... The food was very good tasting and would go back again and recommend it to friends. The country music is played during dinner and country dancing if you desire. The evening takes place on a large covered open air deck/lanai that overlooks the ranch. They will bring out a horse for you to sit on and take photos, this also a very friendly ranch dog and cat that will be wondering around.
